Three new electronic services (e-services) within the authority of the Ministry of Interior can be accessed via e-government portal

Three new electronic services (e-services) within the authority of the Ministry of Interior can be accessed via e-government portal: delivery of documents to home address, review of the status of the application for the issuance of passports and register of NGOs. The delivery service of documents offers users the ability to submit and forward the application form for the issuance of birth certificates, certificates from the registry of Montenegrin citizens and certificates from the registry of permanent residence, with delivery to home address. When using the service “Review of the status of the application for a passport”, it is necessary to enter the number of request, which is inscribed on the confirmation of receipt of the request, received when the documents were submitted, in the designated field. Service “Registry of NGOs” provides the information on non-governmental organizations registered on the territory of Montenegro.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior set of electronic services available on e-government portal has been developed previously. At this moment, Ministry of Interior offers 15 services, four of which are within the authority of Police Administration.

By including larger number of state administration bodies and local government units to provide their services via e-government portal, Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications aims to enable Montenegrin citizens to receive information, and to fulfill their rights and obligations in one place, in a simple and efficient way.
